Arles photographic meetings
During the opening week of the Rencontres photographiques, the Fondation des Treilles will be setting up in Arles. From 7 to 10 July 2026, join us at 6, Place Louis Blanc to discover the Photography Residency Prize and the Escourbiac Prize – Fondation des Treilles, as well as to present your work to our experts (portfolio reviews by appointment), take part in workshops, meet our prize winners, and more.

Tuesday 7 July
11:00 – Presentation of the Fondation des Treilles and its award winners
15:00 – Workshop – How to choose your paper with Canson® ? by Léa Beynet
16:30 – Meeting with Corinne Mercadier (2018 laureate) – La Chaîne des jours (the Chain of days) (series produced during a residency at the CRP/Hauts-de-France) and Opéra silencieux (silent Opera)
18:00 – Swiss Apéro in Arles to mark the 80th anniversary of ALPA cameras with Hans Keist and Patrick Lambertz:
– official announcement of the ALPA Grand Master 2026 and official announcement of the two new ALPA Ambassadors 2026
– private preview of the book Hair by ALPA photographer Loïc Peoch
Wednesday 8 July
10:00 – Portfolio reviews with Raed Bawayah, John Briens, Patrick Delat, Alain Escourbiac, Dominique Laugé and Benoît Pelletier
15:00 – Talk with Alessandra Chiericato, exhibition curator and winner of the 2024 curatorial research grant – L’image cannibale
16:30 – Meeting with Marco Berti Palazzi, winner of the 2026 Escourbiac-Fondation des Treilles Prize – Presentation of Aquapelago, published by Éditions Odyssée, followed by a book signing

15:00 – Workshop – debate – Generation Z with Stephen Joly

Saturday 11 July
9.00 pm – Night of the Year – Screening of the series Makali’i directed by Julie Bourges (2022 winner) as part of her residency at the Villa Albertine (Papeteries Etienne – Quai de la Gabelle)
