Each year, the Fondation des Treilles offers French and foreign researchers the opportunity to meet for 6 days in groups of 5 to 15 people to work collectively on various research projects such as finalizing a publication, initiating a research or exhibition project, transdisciplinary initiatives and more.
Stays at the foundation provide all the conditions you need to devote yourself entirely to the project for which you have been selected by the scientific committee.
The research workshops
5 to 15 people – 6 days
- Research workshops are scheduled from March to July and from September to November, according to a fixed timetable available on the application form.
- The foundation does not contribute to travel expenses ; however transfers from Les Arcs-Draguignan train station or Nice airport, as well as accommodation and meals, are covered.
- Participants commit to stay for the entire duration of the workshop.
- Within one month following your seminar, you are required to submit a two-pages report on your research, which will be published on the foundation’s research blog.

HOW TO APPLY
- Applicants propose a seminar project by submitting the online application form available on our website before the deadline
- Applications must include the names of three referees.
- Each application is examined by the scientific committee twice a year (in March and November).
- Future organizers will be notified of the scientific committee’s decisions about one month after the meeting.
- Please refer to the calls for applications to determine when to apply.
