Photographic meetings – Arles 2023
During the opening week of the Photographic Meetings, the Fondation des Treilles sets up shop in Arles.
From July 4 to 8, 2023, join us at 6, place Louis Blanc to discover the Residency Prize for Photography, the Escourbiac Prize – Fondation des Treilles and meet our winners.

Tuesday July 4
from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.: portfolio readings by Gilles Cargueray and Dominique Laugé
at 3:00 p.m.: Et je laisserai mes yeux voler (And I will let my eyes fly) by Francine Cathelain, 2023 winner of the Escourbiac Prize – Fondation des Treilles; signature
at 4:30 p.m.: Ma vie, mon oeuvre (My life, my work) with Françoise Huguier, member of the jury of the Fondation des Treilles Photographic Prize; signature of 1992 (Odyssée editions, 2023)
Wednesday July 5
at 11:00 a.m., presentation of the photographic activities of the Fondation des Treilles
at 3:00 p.m., reading of L’Aigle et le cygne (The Eagle and the Swan) by Dimitri Bortnikov, 2021 winner of the Fondation des Treilles Author’s Residency Prize (Odyssée editions, 2023)
at 4:30 p.m., Les femmes et la mer (Women and the sea) with Julie Bourges, 2022 winner of the Photography Prize
from 6:45 p.m., evening organized by Escourbiac l’Imprimeur to discuss photography and photographic books by sharing regional specialties from the South-West and Provence. In the presence of Francine Cathelain, first winner of the Escourbiac Prize – Fondation des Treilles who will sign her book.

from 10:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., the Fondation des Treilles offers you the opportunity to have your portfolios read with Gilles Cargueray (Cargueray Agency), Dominique Laugé (Centre for Photography at Château de l’Hom in Gaillac, organizer of the Residence Prize of the Fondation des Treilles), Pascal Beausse and Julia Hancart (CNAP), Denise Zanet (Initial Labo), John Briens (Escourbiac l’imprimeur) and Stéphane Brasca (De l’air magazine)
