Arles 2025 Programme

During the opening week of the Rencontres photographiques, the Fondation des Treilles is moving to Arles. From July 8 to 11, 2025, join us at 6, place Louis Blanc to discover the Residency Prize for Photography and the Prix Escourbiac – Fondation des Treilles, but also to present your work to our experts (portfolio readings upon registration), participate in workshops, meet our winners, etc.

 

Tentative Programme

Tuesday, July 8

11:00 AM – Presentation of the Fondation des Treilles and its laureates
3:00 PM – Workshop – Do you have two minutes? Short podcasts that say a lot by Brigitte Patient and Patrick Delat. Interview with Françoise Huguier
4:30 PM – Meeting with Aurélia Frey, 2024 laureate – On the shoulder of time
6:00 PM – Conference with Olivia Gay, 2022 laureate, about her doctoral thesis in research and creation entitled For a comprehensive photography and her current work: At home and Watching death in France
9:00 PM – Presentation of the laureates since the prize’s creation in 2011 as part of the Festival OFF Arles 2025

Wednesday, July 9 

10:00 AM – Portfolio Readings with John Briens, Gilles Cargueray, Alessandra Chiericato, Dominique Laugé, and Denise Zanet
3:00 PM – Workshop – Photo Books : Why, How, and How Many? by Gilles Cargueray (Éditions Odyssée)
4:30 PM – Meeting with Clément Chapillon, 2019 winner – I Lost Myself in the Sea of ​​Life

Thursday, July 10

10:00 AM – Portfolio Review with Hélène Allain, Raed Bawayah, Bruno Chalifour, Patrick Delat, and Lucie Moriceau
3:00 PM – Workshop – Photography in 19th-Century Japan by Franck Berziery
4:30 PM – Interview with Delphine Warin, 2025 winner of the Prix Escourbiac – Fondation des Treilles. Presentation of La Chance qui danse (The Dancing Chance), published by Éditions Odyssée, followed by a book signing.

Friday, July 11

10:00 AM – Portfolio review with Stéphane Brasca, John Briens, Dominique Laugé, and Benoît Pelletier
3:00 PM – Interview with Mark Lyon, 2013 winner – What Do You Believe In?
